Here is another big list! This write-up is due to several requests from the email bag, where people are curious about the current number of active Native American lenders.
This is the tribal loans list of 2014, where we have all of the current (actively issuing new loans) list of all Native American loan companies. There is no particular order for the list, and it is not any measure or rating of quality for the firms based on where they appear in the list.

That's the big list of currently operating Native American lenders at the start of 2014. Certainly, there are a few companies that were missed from the list. There are always new tribal lenders coming into the marketplace and there are an increasing number of tribal lenders that keep disappearing, with 2013 having more than a few tribal loan companies going down in flames.
Just a quick mention of some of the larger names that were lost in 2013 include the following:
Western Sky Financial - by far the largest tribal lender ever, the only Native American loan company that would offer up to $10,000 loans to an individual borrower.
Spot On Loans - a popular tribal lender who went away, but not really, as they changed their name to Greenline Loans. However, it didn't seem to keep the same lending program that Spot On Loans had in place.
Red Mountain Loans - a good and growing tribal lender that surprisingly vanished, either giving or selling their current accounts to be administered by Black Bear Advance.
Snap Credit - or sometimes referred to as My Snap Credit, a lower quality tribal payday lender that just abruptly faded out and vanished without much reason provided.
Quick Credit 911 - another tribal lender that just mysteriously stopped their business, perhaps from pressure being brought by the New York Attorney General and NY state financial regulator.
Online Green Loan - which was an apparent offshoot of Plain Green Loans, it seems as though the subsidiary (or derivative company) was shuttered for some unknown reason.
Good Time Cash - it's not clear if this company closed early in 2013 or if it was back in 2012, but either way it's not a good time at Good Time Cash as the company is now out of business.
As we move forward into 2014 we still have a good number tribal lenders to choose from and there will undoubtedly be new loan companies emerging as 2014 moves ahead. However, there will most likely be more companies that close down, most likely from the pressure that's continuing to be brought by a variety of state governments.
