Quick Credit 911 is currently not taking new loan applications, but they are still in business for existing customers. The real question is whether or not Quick Credit 911 is going to come back online for new customers to apply for loans, or is this the effective winding down of the company?
Right now there is no way to know the answer, as the company is being very tight lipped about their future. The only answer the firm is providing at this time is that the company is currently not taking any new loans.
It sure looks as though the company is going to close. This is probably a similar situation to what we've been watching with Western Financial, where the company announced that they were going to wind down and close up shop once the current loans are paid off or charged off.
Here is one more point, and that's whether Quick Credit 911 continues as a business or does not, there are other tribal lenders that beat them at the game of lending. If you've read these posts lately I'm sorry to sound like a broken record, but the fact is if you are searching for Quick Credit 911 then you need to understand that there are much better tribal lenders that are available to you. These alternative Native American lenders are not any harder to find, they aren't any harder to apply with, and they definitely are not any more difficult to qualify for a loan with than Quick Credit 911. In fact, I would say some might be more friendly and more convenient, some have a better (more intuitive and more protective) website, and all of them probably have better customer service.
If you are in the market for Quick Credit 911 loan, please stop before you sign any loan documents (this of course Quick Credit 911 is still alive, or has come back to life, when you are reading this) look at the following tribal installment lenders to see if you like what they have to offer first: Mobiloans, Clear Creek Lending, Plain Green Loans and Spotloan.
If you need flexibility but don't need a lot of cash, then check out Spotloans.
If you need $1,500 and want to work with a great company that won't kill you with interest rates, then check out Mobiloans.
If you want $2,500 and want to get it without too much trouble, then contact Clear Creek Lending.
If you want up to $3,000 and you want an APR of less than 60% (which is low for the tribal lending world of business) then contact Plain Green Loans.
Two more possibilities are Great Plains Lending and White Hills Cash.
The point is before you move ahead into a tribal payday loan, please realize that there are tribal installment loans. They are not the same thing, they are not the same business model. Unfortunately, there is just very little press or news that talk about the differentiation between the two lines of business but there should be, that's actually been the biggest theme at this site (sorry to those of you who keep getting hit with this same resounding drumbeat of a message) because it's really important to understand. If you have worked with (or are currently borrowing from) tribal payday lenders such as 500 Fast Cash, American Web Loan, Ameriloan, US Fast Cash, or any tribal payday loan shop then you have to stop and ask the question, what exactly is a tribal installment loan?
The tribal installment loan is a product that beats the tribal payday lending business model in three areas. First, they give much more time to repay the loan. Second, they usually provide much higher loan amounts in terms of dollars, as in triple and quadruple the loan amounts of the payday loan crowd. Third, the APR (the interest rate) you will have to pay is often much better than the tribal lenders and I mean much better, how about paying 59% APR as opposed to 780% APR. Do you think that's a big enough reason to consider switching?
The answer is absolutely yes. I know this is a subjective statement and I realize this is my own personal opinion, but I invite anyone to write me and post a comment to me as to why and how the tribal loan product is superior in any form, way, shape or fashion when compared to the tribal installment loans that firms like Mobiloans and Plain Green Loans offer to their customers. I don't expect many messages because the tribal payday firms just can't cut it when compared to their installment lending peers. And the whole argument against getting just a short-term loan, so that's why you don't need the tribal installment loan, you can just forget that argument now. In that instance you should still get the installment loan and simply repay it more quickly, repay it on the first repayment date or repay even before that first scheduled repayment date.
Alright, so I got off track from talking about Quick Credit 911, but wait a second, because did I really? The whole point of talking about tribal installment loan companies is not to slam Quick Credit 911. They are (or were) a decent company and they offered a decent, legitimate, legal loan product that is for short-term borrowers. But my point is that you need not pay double or triple for something you can get just as easily as the Quick Credit 911 loan.
Before you use tribal payday lenders make sure to look at the tribal installment lenders first.
