PixyCash is one of the lower end tribal lenders, and definitely one that I would tend not to use to get a loan. If you are going to get into debt with a high interest loan then use a larger, more well known (and more respected) Native American lender than PixyCash.
The first thing you will notice if you go to the PixyCash website is how silly the marketing effort of the company is, with brilliant colors and pictures of pixies. It's kind of a strange mix, where it's hard to imagine how or why consumers who most likely have bad credit and are in some serious financial straits are going to appreciate juvenile, cartoonish images while they initiate a very costly loan. Not many people are going to think this is appropriate.
A company like Plain Green Cash and/or Mobiloans have the right idea, as their websites are very bland, very austere in nature. This isn't the time to have funny pictures or cute images. PixyCash isn't the only tribal lender to do this, Cover Me Cash also has foolish pictures and jokes going on while consumers plunge into expensive debt.
The second thing you will experience when you visit PixyCash is that their website seems to have some type of technical problem, or at least some degree of navigation difficulty. It makes me wonder if this site is maintained properly? Some of the pages I tried to visit had error messages on them and others simply didn't seem to work.
Even if the website was fantastic and there were no silly images floating around this is not a lender that I would recommend getting a loan through. While they technically aren't any worse than so many other tribal lending companies out there they aren't any better, and that's the problem, because we do have some Native American lenders that really stand above the crowd. PixyCash is in the middle of that mediocre crowd.
Their rates and terms are not that good, we are looking at yet another 30% interest charging company that provides small dollar loans. Just like so many other tribal lenders that specialize in payday lending there is a little chance that the average consumer (customer) will get more than $1,000 in a loan and might not even make it past $600.
Overall the market just has superior options for someone who doesn't have good credit but does have an income. There are at least 10 other tribal lenders that are better than PixyCash, and these companies include RadiantCash, Mobiloans, Spotloan, Plain Green Loans, Great Plains Lending, Superior Funding (issuing a line of credit) and Clear Creek Lending to name just some of those better choices.
PixyCash doesn't do much to make a first impression and they continue to leave their customers unimpressed with their moderately bad lending program. There is very little reason to agree to sign for one of these loans and many reasons why the competition should be the selection for any consumer. PixyCash can keep their happy, brightly colored site and while they're at it they can keep their cash too, as I'm not interested in borrowing money from this lower end lender.
