Arrow Credit Line hasn't been in business that long so that means the number of complaints listed against the company is quite limited. I was tempted to not even write about any of these complaints strictly because I'm happy that there is another new tribally-based line of credit lender.
After careful consideration I thought it would be alright if i wrote about this company even if there aren't any complaints or reviews about them. I guess I will have to do it myself.
So American Credit Line does offer a line of credit which is a good thing. Just like every other tribal credit line issuer they have decided to run with the $1,500 maximum loan amount. I think I will start complaining right there. Who said that $1,500 was the right place (right dollar amount) to max out at? The problem is that for some long-term borrowers this dollar amount is too low. It doesn't make sense to develop a repayment timeframe that stretches for months and then limit consumers to these very small borrowing limits.
Another problem I have with this tribal lender is their website. It doesn't seem very modern which doesn't add up, because the company is less than 24 months old. So we know there was high quality web designers floating around back in 2012, I can't see any excuse as to why the site looks so dated.
Here's another petty yet obvious flaw with the lender. Look at this statement that I found at the company site, this is verbatim...
"Given the choice between a traditional Auto Loan, Personal Loan, Car Title Loan, or Payday Advance Loan - ArrowCreditLine wins every time! Apply today and let us help give you the credit you deserve."
Can you believe that? What a laugh that gave me. I'm sure I would rather have a high interest line of credit for $1,500 than I would an auto loan which will be for much more money and have a substantially lower interest rate. Give me a break, Arrow Credit Line should've hired Native Loans to write this junk.
I do agree with them on the payday advance loan, which by the way why did they capitalize that particular strand of the sentence - Payday Advance Loan? They also mention that you would do better to have Arrow Credit Line give you a loan rather than a personal loan. That's incorrect, because the terminology of 'personal loan' relates to the type of loan that doesn't necessarily require monthly or bi-monthly repayment dates.
Another point of (very) mild interest is that the company refers to themselves as their website appears, which is ArrowCreditLine. Hey guys, I know the art of English is largely lost but you don't have to pile up all the words together just because that's how the website looks. Look at the company that owns Sheraton and Westin for example, it's called the Starwood Group. Just because their website says "StarwoodGroup" doesn't mean the company is going to go to there next corporate conference and present themselves as the StarwoodGroup. It looks like German language when the words get all piled up like that. No, they are going to present themselves as Starwood Group.
You just get the feeling that the crew over at Arrow Credit Line is not very professional. Bad English, old looking website and they're copying the other tribal line of credit lenders who are obsessed with this $1,500 loan amount. I'm just not interested, this has been a long delivery to say that I would rather use Mobiloans or check out my new favorite tribal lender, RadiantCash. If Arrow Credit Line were to increase their credit line amounts to $3,500 then I would be interested but as it stands now, it's a big no thank you.
